MSH/MSH-T - Axially Split Double Volute Pump

The TORISHIMA MSH series are high pressure, large capacity pumps mainly applied for RO desalination and water transmission plants. The impellers are positioned in back-to-back arrangements in order to reduce axial thrust.

The impeller & volute casing are designed to obtain optimum efficiency.

The MSH-T has twin-suction branches to provide optimum suction performance. Liquid flows into a double-suction 2nd stage impeller through two single-suction impellers that are positioned in back-to-back. The compact back-to-back arrangement balances axial hydraulic thrust and provides optimum efficiency for high flow operation.

The axially split design of MSH series gives easy maintenance of rotating equipment without removing the lower casing.

The pumps have a wide range of materials from carbon steel to stainless steel (austenitic, duplex stainless steel) depending on handling liquid and site condition.
